Best Dolphin & Whale Tours Lanzarote
About - Sea Safaris Lanzarote
Sea Safaris Lanzarote is a small family owned operation.
With more than 20 years of active involvement and sailing on the waters surrounding the lovely island of Lanzarote.
We operate our Sea Safari Boat Tours all year round with twice daily departures from our base in Puerto Calero Marina.
The tours last for between 2 and 3 hours and are suitable for ages 2 years and above.
We explore the waters of the Atlantic Ocean in search of the many different species of cetaceans and wild seabirds that live and migrate through these coastal waters.
Exploring The Coastal Areas Of Lanzarote
Generally we sail within an area of about 40 square nautical miles of what we call “Our Bay”, bordered by Puntal El Barranquillo to the east and Punta Papagayo to the south west. This may also allow us to explore the Los Ajaches coastline with its many coves which form the Bahía De Ávila stretching to Playa Quemada in the north. On the cliffs south of Playa Quemada, in the wild, protected Los Ajaches area, white bird droppings mark the heronry, a cliff where hundreds of Grey Herons gather in the winter months.
Private Sea Safari Boat Charters
Although we have fixed departure times depending on the time of year, our actual passage will always depend upon the prevailing weather and, in particular, the wind strength and direction. Accordingly, it may be necessary on occasions for us to alter our departure time.
Don’t forget – this is Nature’s Playground and, unfortunately, there are never any guarantees of sightings or good weather!
Your comfort and safety are ALWAYS the prime factors by which we determine whether or not we set sail.
Choose Sea Safaris Lanzarote.
Your safety and comfort are of paramount importance to us, which is why we will not set sail in unpredictable or inclement weather conditions. There is ample room on our boat for all passengers to be seated in comfort and to move around safely.
We aim to keep our Sea Safari Boat Tours personal and unique, with as little invasion as possible into the world of the cetaceans and other marine life that we may encounter.
Our boat tours also let us play our part in helping to keep the Ocean Clean by collecting any floating debris such as plastic bottles and bags, beach balls, air beds, rope etc.
