La Jefa (The Boss)!!
Liz has always had a connection to the sea which started in her youth………. messing around with boats off the coast of South Devon in England.
In the year 2000, Liz moved into the world of underwater photography, working alongside many well known underwater photographers and videographers. This gave her the urge to learn to scuba-dive which she did here in Lanzarote and provided her with a much better insight into the underwater world. In particular, she was introduced to the fantastic variety of marine life that lives in these waters.
Liz then developed an interest in whales and dolphins, and was pleasantly surprised to discover how many species of these cetaceans inhabit the waters surrounding Lanzarote.
This then became a major hobby which has taken her to different parts of the world where her wide knowledge of cetaceans has been enhanced, not only by the wonderful sightings of these majestic animals in their natural environment, but also by the number of different people she has met who have shared their own knowledge and experiences with her.
Now, as the principal owner of Sea Safaris Lanzarote, Liz enjoys introducing people of all ages to the wonders and delights that a boat tour along the coastline of Lanzarote has to offer.
